VOLUNTEERS WANTED! NORMAN BIRD SANCTUARY HARVEST FAIR - OCT. 2 & 3
The Norman Bird Sanctuary is having their annual Harvest Fair and Raytheon is looking for volunteers to help out. The event will be held on October 2 & 3 from 10am to 5pm. The Harvest Fair is an old-time country fair with hay and pony rides, quality crafts from over 40 New England crafters, live musical entertainment, food vendors, and lots of family fun. This fair is an old-fashioned, traditional celebration of autumn. REWHC volunteers will be presenting information on our programs as well as hands-on activities for children. Please contact Rachael Frodyma at ext. 2501 or e-mail Rachael_A_Frodyma@Raytheon.com if you would like to participate in this event. Please indicate which day(s) and times you are available. You may include these hours as community service in your performance evaluation.

Volunteers Opportunity - September 24th and 25th
-------------------------------------------------
We'll be setting up the parking lot at the Norman Bird Sanctuary this weekend in preparation for the Harvest Fair the following weekend. Fun-in-the-sun activities include pounding of stakes to delineate parking rows, running about 6000 feet of twine to mark row boundaries, and other stuff. Please contact Bill Saslow or Kevin Bongiovanni at volunteers@rewhc.org for information on schedule. The Norman Bird Sanctuary is our Community Partner!
