Today's talk was a wonderful live visit with a Red-tail Hawk, along with Lauren Parmelee, Education Director at the Norman Bird Sanctuary, and her helper, Jessica McCauley. Thank you so much for this visit!

Our next speaker is very familiar to all of REWHC. Bill Saslow, our webmaster and historian, has been asked to present a talk at the Portsmouth Free Library later this month. He will present a dry run of this talk on Tuesday September 21 at noon in the Kitty Hawk conference room (southwest corner, first floor, Nimitz South). The topic will be "Poor Intentions: A History of the Portsmouth Asylum". Please join us to hear some of the site's history.
