Help the Audubon Society on September 13th and 14th when owls, hawks, eagles and other live birds of prey will thrill the audience during live presentations. This is New England’s largest raptor event.

Help is needed with set up on Friday afternoon, September 12th from 2:00-5:00PM. We also need volunteers to assist with parking, refreshments, activity tables, crafts, and greeting visitors during the event. Both AM (9:30-1:15) and PM (12:45-4:30) shifts are available on Saturday, September 13th, and Sunday September 14th.

Requirements: A specialized training program for all Raptor Weekend volunteers will be held in late August at the Environmental Education Center in Bristol. If you enjoy working with people and being a part of the Audubon Society’s mission to educate the public about nature and wildlife, then this is the position for you!

For more information or to sign up please contact Cathy Corey at (401) 245-7500 x3119 or email ccorey@asri.org.

The Audubon Society's Environmental Education Center is located at:

1401 Hope Street (Rt. 114)
